Rewards program Terms and Conditions
These terms and condition are correct as at 29th of August 2007.
There are some basic conditions that you must be aware of prior to choosing and receiving your chosen rewards package. Please ensure you read this entire page carefully to be sure you understand all the conditions associated with this exciting offer.
Our offer is simple, and genuine. We have made every effort to explain the terms and conditions of our rewards program offer to you in easy to understand language. Our Rewards Program is subject to the following conditions.
1. Document Conditions
Upon making an application you must provide us with the documentation we require to process and approve your application for finance within 48 hours to ensure you qualify. If you do not feel you can provide the required documents to us within the seven day time frame, please do not make an application until you can meet the document availability time frame.
Any applicant that fails to provide ALL the necessary documents as described by your Thrive Home Loans Mortgage Lending Manager within the 48 hour time frame will automatically forfeit any entitlement to any reward.
In this circumstance the application can proceed when documents arrive after the 48 hour time limit, however as stated no entitlement to a reward package will exist after that time.
2. Delivery Conditions
- Reward Package Delivery to your home is not included. Flat rate delivery Australia wide is $220.00 for packages
- Payment for delivery must be made directly to Thrive Home Loans Australia prior to dispatch of your reward items. Payment can be made via credit card, cash, cheque or direct deposit. To view our direct Deposit details click here. Please note payment plans are not considered. Payment must be made in full.
- Goods may be collected directly from Harvey Norman Auburn Sydney NSW if prior arrangements are made with Thrive.
- As at the 1st of October 2006 all previous flyers and any other form of advertising stating free delivery have expired and are no longer valid.
- Your Rewards Package is delivered to your home within 30 days after the settlement and all conditions are met on your new Thrive Home Loan.
- Delivery is restricted to states and territories within Australia and Tasmania. Overseas clients cannot apply.
3. General Conditions
- Applications for home or investment finance are subject to the prevailing lending criteria of Thrive Home Lending Australia Pty Limited at time of application.
- Thrive Home Loans reserves the right to decline any application.
- Offer available on selected low interest rate home and investment loans only including Rapid Repay facilities.
- Minimum loan amount to qualify for any reward items is $350,000.00.
- Application and valuation fees apply to loans less than $250,000.00.
- Application and valuation fees are waived for loans equal to or greater than $250,000.00 that settle with us.
- A maximum of one free valuation applies to all applications greater than $250, 000 up to the value of $330. Additional valuations will be at the borrower’s expense charged at the normal rate applicable.
- Legal* and other charges may apply including Mortgage insurance if you are borrowing more than 80% of the value of your home.
- It would be unfair if we provided you with a Reward Package valued at between $2,000.00 and $3,000.00 and you then immediately refinanced your loan away from THRIVE to another lender. For this reason you will need to keep your new Thrive Home Loan for a period of 5 years to avoid having to pay for your reward and any early refinance penalties.
- Our rewards promotion is open to new home buyers and refinance customers of residential and investment loans.
- Commercial, rural, personal or other loans not described will not qualify for any reward package.
- One Reward package per application.
- Generally if your existing borrowings are less than 90% of the property value, you may not have to contribute any funds towards your refinance and any costs can usually be included in the loan amount.
4. Installation Conditions
- Installation is not provided by Thrive Home Lending Australia Pty Limited and is not included as part of the promotion.
5. Brand Conditions
- To ensure you have years of pleasure from your rewards package we have selected only the most reputable manufacturers that produce a high quality long lasting products. From time to time we reserve the right to offer you a different brand of equal quality if stock of any particular brand is unavailable.
- Manufacturers often change or vary their product model’s. You will be required to accept the model currently offered by THRIVE at the time of settlement of your loan, irrespective of the brands retail value at the time of settlement or delivery.
- All warranties and repairs will be provided by the manufacturer not THRIVE, although THRIVE will do everything we can to assist you if you do experience a problem. For more information regarding upgrades please contact us on 0249 333 455 during business hours.
6. Upgrade Conditions
- You will be required to pay the difference in the wholesale to retail value of the upgraded model you wish to upgrade to within your package.
- Upgrades cannot be requested once delivery of the plasma has been made to your home.
- You understand that packages cannot be mixed or interchanged with other packages.
7. Other Conditions
- You cannot exchange your PLASMA television for cash or other prizes.
- Your package will only be delivered once your entire loan conditions have been met and only after your loan has settled with us.
